Renowned as one of Chicago’s smallest community areas, the Fuller Park neighborhood is located on the city’s south side, only five miles south of the Loop. Just south of Rate Field—home of the Chicago White Sox—Fuller Park lies as a two-mile strip settled between the Dan Ryan Expressway and the Rock Island Railroad. Named for the small park located within the neighborhood in respect to Former Chief Justice Melville Weston Fuller, the neighborhood is best known today for its recreational outdoor space, access to transportation, and proximity to downtown.
